Currently a Delivery Person for Christchurch Star, delivering the Wednesday and Friday Star and the Observer, around 160 papers for each delivery (1991-)

Also currently help out fixing computer/network related problems at Hillmorton High School (1998-)
Netware 4.11, with DOS/Win3.1, Win95, WinNT, and Macintosh workstations
I also administrate a Linux Box which provides
  • Web Caching, with logging, access restrictions by netware login id (automatically determined from the network), and charging.
  • Outbound smart mailer
  • Inbound mail handling, usually straight to Mercury on one of the Netware servers
  • Basic firewalling, to keep students in as much as external threats out
  • DNS server
  • Some web serving (mainly for the forms and other dynamic web pages)
  • Graphing of network traffic of the various segments (see Here)

Various Programming, computer and network problems that various places have had
WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE
(Unpaid)
Assisting the Network Supervisor, at school, with problems with administrating the Netware 3.12 Network and installing new software onto both the network and individual machines.
I also administrate a linux box, at Hillmorton High School, which provides Web caching, logging of traffic, mail server (outgoing only), firewalling, internet routing, DNS server, and an overview of network traffic.
